This time the Round Robin Photo Challenge is about Birds. I had some trouble uploading pictures of birds that I had this time, including the logo, so I'll just have to settle for what came up unless the Blogger glitches get worked out later.
The first picture is of TJ the Cockatoo, who belongs to my son Tony's mother- and father-in-law who live back east so Tony and family have him in Bend, Oregon. My grandson Michael takes care of TJ. He talks a little bit, mostly saying "Hello". He's a very gentle bird, although fairly big -- I'd say a foot long.
Here are a couple of seagulls that I photographed on a trip to Long Beach, Washington in the last couple of years. They seemed to be very nonchalant and carefree on the sand, in an area where people could drive their cars on the beach. I may have photographed them out of my car window; I'm not sure. I love seagulls!
Be sure to check out the challenge as linked to in the first sentence, and play along if you would like!

Hi Suzanne :)
Cute Birdy. I have thought about getting one but the kitties have always made me think twice. I had a bird as a child, and I miss it so much some times. Great photos as always. Thanks for playing along with the challenge.

TJ is so adorable! he does seem like a big bird, but I don't know much about sizes of cockatoos. When we were growing up, we just had parakeets as pets
the seagulls looked so cute on the beach!
enjoy your Sunday
betty
TJ sure is a handsome guy! Birds are so ful of personality. Loved the photos.
I love the photo of TJ the Cockatoo. He's beautiful.
It's a beautiful cockatoo but they can be very noisy at times!
