Round Robin Photo Challenge -- Chickens

A couple of years ago, at my business, we had a couple of shop cats (my kitty Socksie's brothers) who were outside cats and who we consequently fed outside. A chicken showed up and began eating the cat food. She was quite a funny girl! Here she is going towards the food.

Here are the chicken and shop cats eating together.

Another shot of the chicken and the shop cats.

She subsequently disappeared, and one of the cats (the black one, Duke) was hit by a car and the other one, grey little Max, went to live with my son J.D. and his wife Kris.

For more chicken pictures, go to the Round Robin Photo Challenge.

That was funny. Never seen cats be so calm around a chicken....
I´m not participating this week, because I had no idea where I would photograph chickens!! None here. :)

Awww... Friends come in all packages I guess! It's so cute how they all ate together. It made me smile.

The cats and chickens seemed to get along so well. Not something I would have expected. Thanks for sharing!

I agree with Betty..that was funny with the chicken and the cats. It almost looks like the cat is about to be pecked!! BTW, thanks for the visit and your kind words.

Isn't that cute! What a funny chicken. I wonder if she ended up in someone's pot?

Hi Suzanne,
How fun to see the chicken and the cats together. I like that first shot with the chicken in motion!
