Round Robin Photo Challenge -- By the Numbers

This time, the Round Robin Photo Challenge has the theme of "By the Numbers," and I chose to photograph items in my home with numbers on them. The first is a counted cross-stitch embroidery I did quite a few years ago that says, "After 40, it's patch, patch, patch." Obviously, I embroidered it after I turned 40! LOL!

The second is a plaque I was given that says, "Every life should have nine cats." A cute play on words, that.

Last is this month's calendar, which is hanging on my rear entryway wall. Due to light reflection, you can't see the 21st very well but that's my birthday, so the month has a special meaning to me.

To participate in the Round Robin Challenge, go to the link in the first sentence above and you will find directions there. It's lots of fun!

Hi Suzanne :)

:)

I love your numbers! I agreeeee... lol... I am over 40 and it is indeed, patch, patch, patch! Tee Hee. As for the cats, well you know me, I would have 9 cats if I could, although life with 2 kittens can feel like living with 9 cats! LOL. Great, great photos and entry nice lady!

Always, Carly

Jen, I live 30 miles south of Portland. I go to Seaside/Cannon Beach every once in a while. My upcoming trip is to the Newport area, though.

It is amazing when you stop to look, where you can find numbers. Love the cross-stitch.

Patch is right! I feel like a regular collection of patches after this weekend's ditch digging activities.

Or at least feel like I need patching!

Hello Suzanne!!
So sorry I'm so late in getting around to our Numbers challenge. My modem died on Saturday and then the weekend just got more and more bizarre! I'm happy to be able to visit today and see all the fun number shots. Enjoy your week!

Nifty! I The cross-stitch is a neat design and well-executed (not that I'd know!) and I like the idea of a life heaving nine cats, although for me it's dogs, of course. Is that a custom calendar? I like it! Happy Birthday, when it gets here!
