Round Robin Photo Challenge -- In Flight

The theme of the Round Robin Photo Challenge this time is "In Flight." My favorite place to go to capture things flying is the Oregon coast. Here are a couple of pictures from trips out there; first, of seagulls flying, and second, of kites flying.

Go to the Round Robin link in the first sentence to find the main blog with the other participants. There are directions on the Round Robin blog if you want to play!

You are so lucky to be so close to the coast. I have always had a fascination with the sea. Not sure if it was because it was unavailable to me or what? Guess that is why I married a old china sailor. Perhaps, for his sea stories.

Love your captures of the kites. I did not think of that. I do have a few of my grandson learning to fly a kite.

Thanks for stopping by my site.

Hi Suzanne! I love going to the coast to watch things fly, too! :0)
Pretty shots. I'm in Washington state until tomorrow and then it's back to Cali...

Hi Suzanne,
I really like you in flight shots! That one of the kites brought back some childhood memories of flying kites at my grandpa's on Sunday's. Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great evening!

I like the first picture the best. The sand water and sky are a brilliant backdrop to the seagulls.

Well done.

The gull picture is wonderful. The colors are gorgeous with the gulls silohuetted against the sky.
