EMPS #49 -- Pick a Word/Pick a Color

Today on Carly's Ellipsis Monday Photo Shoot #49, we're doing a kind of word association that winds up with a photo. In my instance, I thought of the word "soft" which led me to the color "gray," and to represent "soft and gray" I took a photo of my black and gray cat, Silver and my gray cat, Socksie.

So here they are, in all of their soft and gray splendor. They are such pretty cats, in my opinion!

For extra credit, we were to write about how difficult this was, and whether it tapped our creativity. I found it somewhat difficult, but not to tie in the cats, as they are quite a big part of my life. I mainly found the challenge getting the pictures, but the cats cooperated nicely!

Go to Carly's site as linked in the first sentence if you need further explanation or if you would like to participate in this meme.

Hi Suzanne

:) BIG SMILE! Very well done! The cats are beautiful, and I can totally identify with those two words in relation to the kitties! My kitty when I was a young girl was named Chloe, and she was a very soft silver tabby. Thanks for reminding me of her.

Grey is a shade that softens black and white and holds the best of both and like your cats lives to increase our understanding of the colourful world around us.

Beautiful cats. What a good idea using this to depict soft.

Interesting association, soft with gray. Hmmm. Sure works here!
