EMPS #73 -- Winter Landscapes

Carly at Ellipsis wants to see pictures of winter landscapes in this Monday's photo shoot. Thankfully, I took a picture when it was snowing briefly a couple of weeks ago and here it is.

Since it's an El Nino year, we're not getting much snow here in the Pacific Northwest, at least in Northwestern Oregon, so I had to take the shot while the snow was there. It isn't very heavy but the thin layer is apparent on the lawn.

To see more winter landscapes, go to the link in the first sentence and follow the URL's in the comments. It's fun -- you may even want to participate! You would be welcome!

Hi Suzanne :)

This is the second photo I have seen today of a landscape in a transitional mode. I am becoming more and more inspired to make that an upcoming theme. I am sitting here, wanting so bad, it just step into that scene. I want to see the large trees in the back. You found wonderful depth with this shot... truly one of your best!

Snow does not a winter landscape make!
This photograph holds the line of life crossing a winter of discontent.
Great picture.
Great vision behind the camera.
